Kitchen Remodeling, Designed and Built by One Team
A kitchen asks more of a house than any other room: plumbing, power, ventilation, storage and daily traffic, all in one footprint. We design and build it as a single project, with one team answering for both the drawing and the result.
What a kitchen remodel includes
Depending on your scope, a Bozetti’s kitchen project covers demolition and disposal, framing and layout changes, plumbing and electrical work by licensed trade partners, insulation, drywall and plaster repair, cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, trim and paint. We plan the appliance delivery and installation sequence with your supplier.
The rest of the house is part of the job too. Floor protection, dust barriers and clean-up are planned with you before work starts and written into the scope.
How design-build works in a kitchen
In a kitchen, design decisions and construction costs are tightly linked. Moving the sink changes the plumbing. Removing a wall may call for a structural engineer. A range hood needs a duct route to the outside. Because our designers and builders work as one team, each decision is priced as it is made, and the proposal describes the kitchen that was actually drawn.
Our projects follow five steps: a complimentary first consultation, a written estimate and agreement, a pre-construction meeting, construction, and a final review of the work and of your written limited workmanship warranty. Cabinet layout, appliance specifications and lighting are settled on paper before demolition begins.
What affects timeline and budget
No two kitchens take the same path. These are the main drivers:
- Layout. Keeping the sink, range and refrigerator where they are is simpler than relocating them.
- Structure. Opening a wall to the next room can require engineering, a beam and added inspections.
- Cabinetry. Made-to-order cabinets carry longer lead times than stock lines, and construction is scheduled around their delivery.
- Countertops. Stone is measured only after the cabinets are installed, then fabricated.
- The age of the house. Outdated wiring, uneven floors or old water damage are often found only once walls are open. When that happens we stop that part of the work, show you what we found, and agree on a written change order before the added work proceeds.
Your contract states the date work is scheduled to begin and the date it is scheduled to be substantially completed. We do not quote a duration or a price before we have seen the room.

Frequently asked questions
Can we live in the house during a kitchen remodel?
Most clients do. Before work starts we talk through a temporary kitchen setup, dust protection and which entrance the crew will use, so you know what daily life will look like while the room is out of service.
Do you supply the cabinets and countertops?
Yes. Both are selected with our designer and included in the scope. If you have already purchased materials, tell us at the consultation; we review them for fit and lead time before they become part of the plan.
Will my kitchen remodel need a permit?
Kitchens that involve plumbing, electrical or structural changes generally do. Requirements are set by your town’s building department. We identify them during planning, and applications are filed before the work they cover begins.
